Malacological museum in Makarska displays the shells of sea moluscs. This museum resulted from the systematic and self-sacrificing work of the theologian and natural scientist Fra Jure Radic and the support and cooperation of many people, scholars, museum workers, collectors, and especially his faithful colleague Fra Franjo Carev. There are more than 3000 samples of exposed shells not just from the Adriatic sea but also tropical and subtropical seas and are attractive because of their specific colors and shapes.
